Life is at stake, to Tzu Chi Hospital, whose purpose is to respect life, since it is patient-centered; However, people’s hearts in this world are complicated, I heard about medical disputes, how can we communicate fully with patients and their families, avoid misunderstandings, and protect ourselves? Must master the scale and handle properly; It is necessary to give full play to compassion and wisdom, and strive for the ambition of practicing medicine and saving people.

Love’s medical is imagine from the standpoint of the patient. The so-called “people hurt me pain” ── hurt others, but it hurts in our hearts; “Sorrow for others”-when someone suffers, we also feel sad. If a physician can have a bodhisattva mind with great compassion, will truly give love to care for the patient and alleviate his suffering.

Improve medical quality and medical humanities, and drive medical staff and volunteers to give selfless love, this is my long-cherished wish, I am also grateful that many people around the world have responded to this mission. Tzu Chi International Medical Association was established in 1996, today members are spread across four continents and fourteen countries, whether it’s in the city or in the remote deep mountains and seashores, medical and nursing volunteers have always dedicated their great love selflessly and regrettably, let the poor and the sick be saved, and good doctors and good care don’t expect rewards.

Generalize medical careers, in addition to hoping to benefit more poor and sick people, I also hope to open up more space, so that more doctors can participate in Tzu Chi, continue to carry forward the love of medical care. On the other hand, We also give back to the people for their dedication to Tzu Chi with loving medical care.

Although the process of medical construction that respects life is painstaking, it is very meaningful. So I am very grateful to all Tzu Chi people and caring people from all walks of life, work together to promote the “universalization of Tzu Chi medical care”, regardless of whether it is soliciting fundraising or conveying spiritual ideas, everyone is very attentive. In addition to devoting to the four major ambitions every day, the committee members and the Cicheng team also took turns to return to the hospital to volunteer and show love, at work, I also took a “life and death” course covering life, old age, sickness and death.
